This is a site I built to quickly check tides and weather around Pine Creek in Fairfield, CT. My goal was for local boaters (myself included) to have a clean, mobile-friendly snapshot of what to expect before heading out.

It shows:

• Live wind, air temperature, and water temperature
• Today's tide predictions
• A full 30-day tide forecast
• Hourly weather (temp, sky conditions, wind)
• Official marine reports from NOAA

All of this is pulled live from:

• NOAA Tides & Currents
• National Weather Service hourly forecasts
• NOAA's marine report text feeds

There's no backend and everything is designed for a fast-loading static site that works well on phones, built for situations where cell service is limited.

Built with:

• Vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• No frameworks, libraries, or server
